Sample Recipes to Support CD8+ Killer T Cells

Here are 3 delicious, easy-to-make recipes that have zeaxanthin-rich foods which can help support your immune system’s killer T-cells. These are simple, flavorful meals using everyday ingredients—no fancy equipment needed. Each serves 2-4 people and takes under 45 minutes.

1. Creamy Spinach & Kale Frittata 🍳

A fluffy egg-based dish packed with zeaxanthin from spinach, kale, and yolks—perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups kale, stems removed and chopped
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft (3-4 min).
  2. Add spinach, kale, and corn; cook until tender but not mushy (4-5 min).
  3. Whisk eggs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour over veggies, sprinkle cheese on top. Cook 2 min until edges set.
  4. Transfer to oven and bake 10-12 min until puffed and golden. Slice and serve warm.
